This glossary or dictionary is but a small introduction to the vast scope of the Gnostic Teachings. The knowledge given in the writings of Samael Aun Weor ranges across the whole of human experience and therefore draws on the world's great treasure of language and mystical expression; what cannot be expressed accurately in one language or religious context may find its perfect meaning in another tongue or theology. Glorian Publishing invites additions, suggestions and corrections for all the terms in this Glossary. | |

| Gurdjieff | (1866?-1949) an Armenian man who studied throughout Asia and later went to Europe and Russia teaching about the consciousness; his school is called The Fourth Way. Internally, his instructor was the Logos Samael; this is why Gurdjieff's work seems so much like Gnosis. Samael Aun Weor indicates that Gurdjieff made some errors and omitted many things, in particular Alchemy, Kabbalah and Meditation. |
