As a non-profit organization, Glorian (formerly Thelema Press) relies upon the support of donations. All of our projects have been developed solely because of the generosity and compassion of students who want to share the benefit of the Gnostic teachings with others.

Throughout the history of religion, the existence of the spiritual teachings has been freely supported by the congregation. In the West, this financial support has been known by the name of “tithing.” Here is what Samael Aun Weor said about this important topic:

In its exoteric or public aspect, the obligation of the Tithe... is the universal obligation which all the brethren of the Path have to loyally contribute part of their income (that should not be inferior to the Tithe) in a free and suitable way, according to what the brothers and sisters judge as the most opportune and effective in order to support the cause of truth and justice...

The tithe in its esoteric or secret aspect symbolizes the scale of payments in the sphere of Neptune... It is unquestionable that here we have to arrange affairs with the enemies of the King Licos (the Lords of KARMA).

It is indubitable that we assassinated the God Mercury, HIRAM, and it is not possible to resuscitate him within ourselves without previously having paid for this abject crime...

Therefore, the Tithe becomes a practical and necessary complement of the dynamic principle which emanates from the profound study of the Tenth Commandment, in other words: We must consider the mysterious YOD which is hidden in the middle of the central delta of the sanctuary of our Being, as a fountain, spring and spiritual providence of all the interior and divine centers of our life...

This point of the Tithe is clarified with the words of the Gospel: “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also... - (Matthew 6: 20-21)

Malachi 3:10 says: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now here-with, saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

This emphasis on “giving in order to receive” is complemented by the foundational teaching of the Buddha, who taught that the first of the virtues is generosity (dana).

6. Wisdom

And [Jesus] sat down opposite the treasury [of the Temple], and watched the multitude putting money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came, and put in two copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, "Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, her whole living." - Mark 12:41-44

Glorian Publishing is dedicated towards the wellbeing of humanity: our goal is to provide the medicine of the Dharma (Gnosis) that alleviates suffering. Whenever possible, we provide the teachings for free. Unfortunately, none of the volunteers who support Glorian are wealthy. We all have full time jobs just to survive in this world. We are Gnostic students who volunteer our time for the service of humanity. We are not business people making a profit from the teachings. No one is being paid financially for working on behalf of Glorian Publishing. The staff of volunteers works in collaboration with Glorian to provide humanity with the teachings of Samael Aun Weor in order to generate revenue to fund the printing of the other books by Samael Aun Weor in English. The printing presses, paper, ink, shipping, electricity, computers, software, the websites, the graphics for the books, etc. are not free to us. In order to fulfill our mission, we ask for donations, we do not demand them. If someone feels they want to collaborate with our mission, they make a donation. All proceeds go to the further printing of the books and to support the existence of the websites. Therefore, on behalf of the many thousands of students who have benefited from the generous donations of time and money given thus far, we thank you.
