(Hebrew אהרון) In the books of Moses, the brother of Moses. Since Moses (משה) is a symbol of the Causal Body (the sephirah Tiphereth) which is related to the pineal gland, Aaron his brother represents the Mental Body (the sephirah Netzach), which is related to the brain. Aaron is the head of the tribe of Levi, which is related to the priesthood (magi), and the Kabbalistic triangle of the priesthood or magi-c: Netzach, Hod, Yesod.

A Biblical symbol of the raised serpent of fire (see Numbers 21) also called Kundalini (Sanskrit).

(Hebrew אבדון) destruction.

Thus Abaddon, Apollyon, Hades, and Orcus all signify the underworld -- the kama-loka or region of disintegrating "shells," human or other."

(Hebrew אב, spelled aleph-beth; “father”) The masculine sexual power of (the Holy Spirit) Binah (understanding), is the Father of Shechinah (feminine Hebrew word that means “the dwelling of the presence of God" - Chesed - Mercy), Gedulah is fecundated by the Holy Spirit Binah (Jehovah Elohim) within the womb of Aima Elohim. He controls the creation of the lower Sephiroth by means of Daath. Thereafter, he may impregnate the womb of Aima Elohim in order for Chokmah (as the Son of Man, Christ) to be born within the Bodhisattva.

(Hebrew הבל Hei, Beth, Lamed, pronounced "ha-bel") Literally, nonsense, futility, idleness, vapor, breath, vanity, to waste life on vain things. One of the sons of Adam and Eve.

"And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain [Kayin], and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel [Habel]. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground." - Genesis 4:1-2

The sacred name of the great Being who sent his Human Soul to the Earth two thousand years ago and came to be known as Jesus.

(Sanskrit; a  “without,”  bhaya “fear”) 1. Fearless.  2. One who does not produce fear in others.

(Hebrew אברהם) The progenitor of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. From Semitic roots, Abraham means “the divine Father is exalted”: from אב Ab, father; and רהם ram, raham, exalted.

"Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram [אברם], but thy name shall be Abraham [אברהם]; for a father [אב] of many nations have I made thee." - Genesis 17:5

In Kabbalah, Abraham represents the sephirah Chesed, our Innermost.

"For it is written, that Abraham (Abba, the Father, Iod in Yesod) had two sons, the one by a bondmaid (the fallen Eve-Venus, the lunar serpent Od, Ida = Agar the lunar female force that instinctively procreates in Egypt, Matzarim, the World of Malkuth, Assiah), the other by a freewoman (Zain, Urania-Venus, Sa-Ra the Female Adept from Nirvana, the Mother of Isaac, the Son of Man in Daath).

"But he who was of the bondwoman was born (in Malkuth) after (the blood of) the flesh; but he (the Bodhichitta within the Bodhisattva) of the freewoman was by (sexual transmutation, and this is the) promise (of Shaddai-El-Chai, the Holy Spirit). Which things (women) are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the Mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Agar (Egypt, Matzarim, Assiah). For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bear not; break forth and cry, thou that travails not: for the desolate (Eve-Venus, the fallen lunar force in Malkuth) has many more children than she (Urania-Venus, the creative sexual force that rises to the Pineal Gland) which has a husband (the Holy Spirit). Now we, (Gnostic) brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of (Shaddai-El-Chai, the Holy Spirit through sexual transmutation, and this is the) promise. But as then he (the fornicator) that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born (through sexual transmutation) after the (Holy) Spirit (the sexual creative force of Shaddai-El-Chai), even so it is now.

Cast out the bondwoman and her son (into Malkuth, the Wheel of Samsara): for the son (the soul dressed with lunar protoplasmic bodies) of the bondwoman (Eve-Venus, the fallen lunar force in Malkuth) shall not be heir with the son (the soul dressed with solar bodies) of the freewoman. So then, (Gnostic) brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman (Eve-Venus, the fallen lunar force in Malkuth), but of the free (sexual forces of SA and RA, which become the Divine Princess Kundalini that rises victoriously to the brain)." - Galatians 4: 22-31

or Abrasax (Gnostic, from the Greek Αβραξας) From The Theosophical Glossary: "Mystical term used by the Gnostics to indicate the supreme entity of our cosmic hierarchy or its manifestation in the human being which they called the Christos. Abraxas has the value of 365, based on numerical equivalents of the Greek alphabet. Because 365 represents the cycle of one revolution of our planet around the sun, they held that in Abraxas were mystically contained the full number of families of entities composing a hierarchy. These entities received from their supreme illuminator, Abraxas, the streams of life and inspiration governing their existence. Thus in a sense Abraxas is the cosmic Oversoul, the creative or Third Logos, Brahma. The Basilidean Gnostics [see: Basilides] taught that from this supreme God was created nous (mind). Abraxas also was identified with the Hebrew 'Adonai, the Egyptian Horus, and the Hindu Prajapati. Rabbi Yehuda said, in that case, it is written, "If any man (Heb. adam) of you bring an offering to Hashem" (Vayikra 1:2). Who needs to bring an offering? "Every spirit [ruach] is called Adam [man], which means that only the aspect of the light of the spirit that is enclothed within the body is called Adam [man]. So the body of the spirit of the holy side is only a covering; in other words, the spirit is the actual essence of man and the body is only its covering. But on the other side, the opposite applies. This is why it is written: "you have clothed me with skin and flesh..." (Iyov 10:11). The flesh of man is only a garment covering the essence of man, which is the spirit [ruach]. Everywhere it is written the flesh of man, it hints that the essence of man [Adam] is inside. Genesis 1:26: "And Elohim said; Let us make Adam in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion:

1. Over the fish of the sea (Tattva Apas – “He” - Water),
2. And over the fowl of the air (Tattva Vayu – “Vav” - Air),
3. And over the cattle, and over all the earth (Tattva Prittvi – “He” - Earth),
4. And over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth (wherein there is life – “Iod” - Tattva Tejas – Fire, the Serpent.)

“The body of Adam Kadmon is formed by the Sephiroth." - Tarot and Kabbalah, ch. XXXII

The Hebrew word Adam united to the Latin word Solus represents the Polar First Root Race who possessed a pure Androgynous-Physical-Spiritual existence. From them emerged the Second Root Race: the Hyperboreans, who expressed the Twin Souls, Adam-Eve or Iod-Havah, or pure Androgynous-Physical-Psychic existence. The Hyperboreans (by means of physical psychological transformation) originated the Lemurian Hermaphrodite Third Root Race, who when dividing themselves into opposite sexes (event symbolized in the Bible by the allegory in which the Inner Iod-Havah physically separates herself Eve “Havah” from his self “Iod” Adam) who by means of their physical fall divided their consciousness into Cain (the consciousness bottled up into Evil - the Mind) and Abel (the innocence of the Soul). The innocence of Abel died by the evilness of Cain, who by means of regeneration produced the Atlantean Fourth Root Race, Seth-Enos. The Atlanteans (by means of successive transformations) originated Noah, the Vaisvasvata Manu (the son of the Hyperborean Surya, “the Sun”), the forefather of the post-diluvium race, the Aryan Root Race. The Fourth and the Fifth (the present Aryan Root Race) are the outcome of the tasting of the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil (orgasm).

(Hebrew אדמה) “ground, earth.” Genesis 2:7 says, “God [Adonay Elohim] formed man [Adam אדמ] out of dust of the ground [Adamah אדמה], and breathed into his nostrils a breath of life. Man [Adam אדמ] became a living creature." The Hebrew word for ground or earth, Adamah is related to Adam, the Hebrew word for man. Both words are also cognate to adom, meaning red, and dam meaning blood.

(Latin) adeptus, "He who has obtained." In occultism, one who has reached the stage of Initiation and become a Master in the science of esotericism.

Gnosis describes three degrees of Adept:

1. Adeptus minor: An initiate who has successfully completed the initiation of the sephirah Tiphereth (the fifth serpent of fire).
2. Adeptus major: Related to the sephirah Geburah.
3. Adeptus exemptus: Related to the sephirah Chesed.

(Sanskrit) Spiritual.

(Sanskrit, literally "eternal, limitless power") A name for the Divine Mother, the source of everything that exists.

(Sanskrit. In Tibetan, Dang-po'i sangs-rgyas) From Vajrayana Buddhism; also known as Samantabhadra/Samantabhadri or Vajradhara. Adi-Buddha, Adhi-buddha, or Adibuddha is the "Primordial Buddha," or origin of all the Buddhas. Adi-Buddha is a self-emanating, self-originating Buddha, present before anything else existed.

(Sanskrit) The Vedic name for Mulaprakriti, the abstract aspect of Parabrahman, though both are unmanifested and unknowable. In the Vedas, Aditi is the indivisible conscious-force and ananda of the Supreme; the Mother; the infinite Mother of the gods; supreme Nature or infinite Consciousness.

(Hebrew אדני) Lord or master.

comes through Middle English from the Old French adultere, in turn from Latin adulterium from Latin adulter, "adulterer," related to the verb adulterāre, adulterāt- which means "to pollute."

or adyton (Greek: Άδυτον) or adytum (Latin). The Holy of Holies of any temple. A name for the secret and sacred precincts or the inner chamber, into which no profane could enter; corresponds to the sanctuary of the altars of the Christian churches.

(Greek αιών aion) Literally, "a duration of time."

In Gnosticism, the Greek term aion refers to a class of being. It can also refer to (sometimes simultaneously):

1. the title of a Master of the Great Day.

2. a region or dimension. "The Twelve Aeons or Twelve Cosmic Regions mutually penetrate and co-penetrate without confusion... We must make a clear differentiation between Firmament and Regions. Regions are equivalent to Dimensions. The twelve Aeons are the twelve Regions. The twelve hours of Apollonius are related with the twelve existing Aeons within every Firmament... Unquestionably, the Initiate must work in each one of the Thirteen Aeons, if he wants the Final Liberation. The First Aeon is Malkuth, which is here and in the submerged Abyss. The Second Aeon is Yesod, which is in our sexual organs and in the fourth dimension, within which is the Terrestrial Paradise, the Ethereal World. The Third Aeon is the Astral World, the Sephira Hod. The Fourth Aeon is Netzach, the Mental World. The Fifth Aeon is Tiphereth, the Causal World. The Sixth Aeon is Geburah, the Buddhic or Intuitional World. The Seventh Aeon is the World of Atman, the Ineffable one, the region of Chesed or Gedulah. The Eight Aeon is Binah, the region of the Holy Spirit, the World of Shiva, the Third Logos. The Ninth Aeon is Chokmah, the region of the Logos, the Cosmic Christ. The Tenth Aeon is Kether, the Region of the Ancient of Days. The Thirteenth Aeon is the region of the Ain, the Unmanifested Absolute. Each one of the Thirteen Aeons must be Self-realized within ourselves. On February 4, 1962, when the Age of Aquarius arrived, humanity entered into a very new situation. With the new celestial influence we saw the arrival of a huge shift in society: mass rebellion against the old ways, sexual experimentation, giant social earthquakes shaking up all the old traditions. We also saw the arrival in the West of a strong spiritual longing, and deep thirst for true, authentic spiritual experience. These two elements: 1) rebellion to tradition and 2) thirst for spiritual knowledge are a direct effect of the influence of Aquarius, the most revolutionary sign of the zodiac. Aquarius is the Water Carrier, whose occult significance is Knowledge, the bringer of Knowledge. With the new age came a sudden revealing of all the hidden knowledge. The doors to the mysteries were thrown open so that humanity can save itself from itself. Of course, the Black Lodge, ever-eager to mislead humanity, has produced so much false spirituality and so many false schools that it is very difficult to find the real and genuine Path.

(Sanskrit skandha, Tibetan pungpo nga) Literally “group, pile, aggregate, heap.” A general term of Buddhist philosophy describing the basic faculties of a sentient being or “personality.”

1. Corporeality or form (rupa)

2. Sensation (vedana)

3. Perception (samjana)

4. Mental Formations (samskara)

5. Consciousness (vijnana)

Each aggregate is composed of a combination of factors and parts, which implies that it does not have independent existence. This is the basis for the Buddhist argument that there is no independently existing self.

The Skandhas relate to five lower bodies or sephiroth.

1. Physical Body (Malkuth)

2. Ethereal Body (Yesod; made of four ethers and vibrating with Tattvic energy)

3. Lunar Astral/Emotional Body (Hod): the body of desires

4. Lunar Mental Body (Netzach)

5. Essence or Consciousness (Tiphereth)

It is said in Buddhism that our suffering comes from the attachments and cravings that reside within the skandhas, or in other words, the egos live within the psyche of the terrestrial man. The bodies of the soul (skandhas) must be cleaned and purified through alchemical birth and psychological death. This work is done by the Cosmic Christ within the Bodhisattva, as clearly symbolized in the Prajnaparamita Sutra:

The Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara (Cosmic Christ)
while moving in the deep course of Perfect Understanding (Binah)
shed light on the five Skandhas (the light of transmuted fire)
and found them equally empty [of self]. (because the fire destroys the egos)
After this penetration, he overcame all pain. (Resurrection)

In Gnosis, the term aggregates is usually used in reference to impermanent and inhuman psychological "I's" ("egos" or defects) that fill the lower levels of consciousness and trap the psyche in suffering. Aggregates are psychological elements created by means of desire. Each aggregate traps a certain percentage of consciousness, which when freed through the destruction of the aggregate, results in the awakening of consciousness in a positive manner. In synthesis, a psychic aggregate is a positive or negative value that is the source of suffering. See also ego, defect, "I."

(or Ah-hi; Sanskrit) In ancient literature, Ahi can have many meanings depending upon usage: a snake, the serpent of the sky, the demon Vritra, a cloud, water, the sun, a traveller, the navel, lead, or (in arithmetic) the number eight. In Theosophy, the term Ah-hi is defined as “the serpents or dragons of wisdom,” a reference to realized Beings.  In the Germanic Eddas, the Dragon is called Ahti.

An unfoldment of Ruach Ha Kadosh (the Holy Spirit) Binah (understanding). Aima is the Mother of Shechinah (feminine Hebrew word that means “the dwelling of the presence of God” - Chesed - Mercy), Gedulah is conceived by Aima Elohim when fecundated by the Holy Spirit Binah (Jehovah Elohim). She creates the lower Sephiroth by means of the Initiations of Chesed. Thereafter, she may conceive in her womb Chokmah (as the Son of Man, Christ).

In Greek “Aima” means blood either in humans or rational or irrational animals, it is also metaphorically referred to as juice of grapes, or specifically to the blood of Christ.

(Sanskrit) The Pituitary Chakra that is connected to the Pituitary Gland of the physical body. It is recognized in the astral body as a lotus with two petals. A developed Ajna Chakra enables Clairvoyance. Also called the agni or agniya (fiery) chakra.

The most subtle level of matter. The solar light comes to earth and everything on earth transforms that light. Prana is the light from the Absolute. When it passes through the Heptaparaparshinokh it becomes the Akasha. Akasha is further modified into the tattvas and the elements.

Akasha is the name of the first tattva, the primordial substance that inundates the entire space; all the other tattva (Fire-Tejas, Air-Vayu, Water-Apas and Earth-Prithvi) are modifications of these cosmic waters, all of them live and work within Akasha. All forms, thoughts, dreams and ideas of the universe live in Akasha. There is no living thing in the universe that can exist without Akasha or multiply its species without it. Akasha is the substance from which every other substance emerges; Akasha is that which every other tattva emerges from; Akasha is where everything is in potency, and Akasha is where everything is in activity. Thus, Akasa appears in various positions. Wherever there is any room for any substance, there is Akasha.

A record of memory of the earth, its races, etc. It is possible to access past, present, and future events within these records, available in the internal planes.

In Tibetan: kunshi namshe) In the Mahayana Yogachara school, the ground consciousness or storehouse consciousness, the base consciousness of everything that exists, from which everything arises. Al (as a connotation of the Arabic word Allah: al-, the + ilah, God) means "The God." Also Al (Hebrew) for "highest" or El "God." Chem or Khem is from kimia (Greek) which means "to fuse or cast a metal." Also from Khem, the ancient name of Egypt. The synthesis is Al-Kimia: "to fuse with the highest" or "to fuse with God."

In Alchemy, it is symbolically stated that there exist Five Atomic Ingredients with a Unitive Cement in order to acquire such fusion: Seed, Honey, Wine, Bread and Milk.

Seed: Represents the Ens Seminis, the masculine and feminine creative energy.

Honey: wisely represents the Bartholin glands or greater vestibular glands. These are two glands located slightly below and on both sides of the vaginal opening in women. They secrete mucus to provide lubrication, especially when the woman is sexually aroused, thus facilitating sexual activity.

Wine: Is the same Ens Seminis, transmuted or elevated to a higher scale of vibration by means of the alchemical transmutation, which is magisterially symbolized in the biblical narration of the transmutation of water into wine in the weddings of Canaan of Galilee.

Bread: it is a clear reference to the Solar Bodies, the Existential Vehicles of the Being; the outcome of the Alchemical Work.

Milk: Symbol of the Developed Virtues.

She emerged with her serpent mate Khronos or Cronos, the god of time. They are far beyond all other Gods. The daughters of Ananke are the three Fates.

In Buddhism, anger (hate, aggression) is depicted as one of the three core defects upon which the entire Wheel of Samsara rotates. Mentioned many times in The Pistis Sophia (he is \the dog-faced one\) and well-known in Egyptian symbolism, Anubis is the supreme hierarch of the Law of Karma who is assisted by 42 Judges. The Temple of the Law where he presides is located on the Sun, which is ruled by Michael, the holder of the scales of cosmic balance, related with the Law.

\The one who awakens Consciousness can travel in his internal bodies outside the physical body, with full conscious will, and study his own book of destiny. In the Temple of Anubis and his Forty-two Judges, the initiate can study his own book. Anubis is the supreme ruler of Karma. The Temple of Anubis is found in the Molecular World, called the Astral World by many people. The Initiates can directly negotiate with Anubis. We can pay every karmic debt with good deeds, but we have to negotiate with Anubis. (Egyptian) The sacred bull of Memphis, said to be the incarnation of Osiris or of Ptah. His worship spread throughout the Mediterranean world and was particularly important during the time of the Roman Empire.

\Among the ancient Egyptians, the Sacred Bull Apis had to be young, healthy and strong in order to symbolize the Philosophical Stone. The famous Bull Apis, so adored in the Egyptian Mysteries, was the creator and prosecutor of souls. The symbolic Bull Apis was consecrated to Isis, because it is in fact related to the Sacred Cow, the Divine Mother Isis, whose veil no mortal has ever lifted. In order for a Bull to have the high honor of being promoted to such a category, it was necessary for it to be black and to have on its forehead or on one of its shoulder blades, a white spot in the shape of a crescent Moon. It is also true, that said sacred bull had to have been conceived under the impression of the ray and have under the tongue the mark of the sacred scarab. Generally a reference to the Book written by St. John, which is the last book of the Christian Bible. This book is also called the Revelation of St. John. \The fundamental book of the Great Work, which James carries in his hands, is the Apocalypse (Revelation). Unquestionably, the Apocalypse is the book of Wisdom, which is comprehensible only by the Alchemists. Only the workers of the Great Work can comprehend the Apocalypse. The book of Revelation equated Abaddon with Apollyon, and Cornelius Agrippa positioned him as the monarch in Klipoth, yon in the lower shadow of the Sephirah Tiphereth (Beauty) on the Kabbalistic Tree. Indeed, Tiphereth is governed by the Sun-Apollo (the Cosmic Christ) and the planet Venus-Aphrodite (Goddess of love and beauty).

Tiphereth relates to the Human Soul and the Heart in the physical body. The blood stream places the Astral Light (Apollo) “yon” Tiphereth-the Heart, there in Yesod-Sexual Organs.

Thus, Apollyon is the fallen Tiphereth (the Malachim, the human soul, the psyche) that receives the Astral Solar Light of Apollo (Christ) through the heart, and who thereafter squanders through the sexual organs by means of fornication and adultery (Lilith and Nahemah – Evil Beauty), the negative aspects of Venus-Aphrodite (sexual force).

As described in Revelation, Apollyon (the fallen Tiphereth) opens the gates of the abyss (Klipoth) and unleashes upon the earth his swarms of lustful demons “locusts,” who then proceed to torture those of mankind who do not bear the seal of God (chastity) upon their forehead. After that, (by means of the Great Arcanum) he (Tiphereth, the Human Soul – Willpower - Thelema) is supposed (with the help of Apollo - Christ) to seize Satan himself, bind him and toss him into the bottomless pit (Klipoth) for a thousand years.

(Chaldean) Literally, “the vast countenance," or "the huge face." The Zohar describes it as “the ancient of ancients.” Arik Anpin is the first manifested aspect of divinity, represented in Kabbalah as the first trinity (Kether, Chokmah, Binah).

Although the word ark does not appear in the Hebrew scriptures (Tanakh or Torah), it does appear in Latin as arca, but translated from two very different words.

1. In relation to Noah's ship and Moshe's cradle, in Hebrew these are תבת, tebah, which means ship or boat.

2. In relation to the container built by Betzalel for Moshe, in Hebrew it is ארון, Aron, spelled Aleph-Resh-Vav-Nun.

The Aron Kodesh (Holy Container) is contracted to Ar-K orally. Inexplicably, these two very different words (boat and container) are translated to Latin as arca, meaning chest, both as a box and the trunk of the human body, and also as a coffin, as that which Joseph was placed within when he died. Thus, for centuries people have conflated several very different things, although they are closely related in the Kabbalistic tradition.

In fact, in the Judeo-Christian scriptures there are many "arks," but to find them one must know the Hebrew letters. Yet, it is not exclusively a Western symbol, as variations of the sacred vessel occur in every religion.

"The Ark is the sacred Argha of the Hindus, and thus the relation in which it stands to Noah's ark may be easily inferred when we learn that the Argha was an oblong vessel, used by the high priests as a sacrificial chalice in the worship of Isis, Astarte, and Venus-Aphrodite, all of whom were goddesses of the generative powers of nature, or of matter -- hence representing symbolically the Ark containing the germs of all living things." (Greek) An Olympian goddess in Greek religion and mythology, daughter of Zeus and Leto and twin sister of Apollo. Artemis' early worship, especially at Ephesus, identified her as an earth goddess, similar to Astarte. In Classical Greek literature she was portrayed as a deliberate and unshakable virgin, a symbol of having perfect chastity; she punished anyone who attempted to violate this state and required all of her attendents to maintain their chastity as well. She defended chastity among men and women. In later legend, however, she was primarily a virgin huntress, goddess of wildlife and patroness of hunters. As the complement to Apollo, she was often considered a moon goddess and as such was identified with Selene and Hecate; the confusion with Hecate arose because Artemis was considered the bringer of death to women, while her twin brother Apollo brought death to men. In ancient Greece, the worship of Artemis was widespread. The Romans identified her with Diana. She is mentioned in the biblical book of The Acts of the Apostles.

In Universal Gnosticism, this term refers to the vast majority of the popluation of this planet, and is noted for its close relationship with Ares or Mars, the God of War. Fifth Subrace: Are the Anglo-Saxon and Teutonic. The First and Second World Wars, with all of their barbarism and moral corruption, point with their accusatory fingers to the men and women of the fifth Aryan Subrace.

Sixth Subrace: The mixture of the Spanish Conquistadors with the Native-American tribes. The effort to form the sixth Subrace in the redskin territory was very difficult, because the English Conquistadors destroyed them; they assassinated them, instead of mixing themselves with the natives. Only in a very insignificant and incipient way was the mixture of blood performed. This is why the Occult Fraternity saw the necessity of converting the North American territory into a melting crucible of races. So, the formation of the sixth Subrace in the United States had enormous difficulties; there, all the races of the world have mixed. The sixth Subrace in Latin America was formed very easily and this is something that must not be ignored by the treatisers of anthropogenesis and occultism.

Seventh Subrace:  The survivors of the new great cataclysm that soon will destroy this Aryan Root Race will be formed by the survivors of the Seventh Subrace; they still do not exist, but they will.

The Hebrew name Ari (also Arieh or Aryeh) translates as "lion"; the Biblical Judah (in Hebrew Yehuda) is the original name of the Tribe of Judah - traditionally symbolized by a lion. In Genesis, the patriarch Jacob refers to his son Judah as a Gur Aryeh גּוּר אַרְיֵה יְהוּדָה , a "Young Lion" (Genesis 49:9) when blessing him. So, Aryeh is the constellation of Leo, house of the Sun, the Ain Soph Aur and of the Christified Initiates.

In the Biblical Book of the Revelation of St. John, this term is mistranslated as "Asia." It should say:

"John to the seven churches [energetic, psychological centers] which are in Assiah [the physical body]: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne." (Revelation 1:4)

This term is derived from pertaining to or proceeding from the stars, but in the esoteric knowledge it refers to the emotional aspect of the fifth dimension, which in Hebrew is called Hod. Related terms are below.

What is commonly called the Astral Body is not the true Astral Body, it is rather the Lunar Protoplasmatic Body, also known as the Kama Rupa (Sanskrit, “body of desires”) or “dream body” (Tibetan rmi-lam-gyi lus). The true Astral Body is Solar (being superior to Lunar Nature) and must be created, as the Master Jesus indicated in the Gospel of John 3:5-6, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” The Solar Astral Body is created as a result of the Third Initiation of Major Mysteries (Serpents of Fire), and is perfected in the Third Serpent of Light. In Tibetan Buddhism, the Solar Astral Body is known as the illusory body (sgyu-lus). This body is related to the emotional center and to the sephirah Hod.

(Sanskrit, literally "self") An ancient and important word that is grossly misinterpreted in much of Hinduism and Buddhism. Many have misunderstood this word as referring to a permanently existing self or soul. Yet the true meaning is otherwise.

"Brahman, Self, Purusha, Chaitanya, Consciousness, God, Atman, Immortality, Freedom, Perfection, Bliss, Bhuma or the unconditioned are synonymous terms." - Swami Sivananva

Thus, Atman as "self" refers to a state of being "unconditioned," which is related to the Absolute, the Ain Soph, or the Shunyata (Emptiness). Thus, Atman refers to the Innermost, the Spirit, the Son of God, who longs to return to that which is beyond words.

In general use, the term Atman can also refer to the spirit or sephirah Chesed.

It is the pure, absolute, essential Consciousness of all the conscious beings. The source of all life, the source of all knowledge is the Atman, thy innermost Self. This Atman or Supreme Soul is transcendent, inexpressible, uninferable, unthinkable, indescribable, the ever-peaceful, all-blissful. There is no difference between the Atman and bliss. The Atman is bliss itself. God, perfection, peace, immortality, bliss are one. The goal of life is to attain perfection, immortality or God. The nearer one approaches the Truth, the happier one becomes. For, the essential nature of Truth is positive, absolute bliss. There is no bliss in the finite. Bliss is only in the Infinite. Eternal bliss can be had only from the eternal Self. To know the Self is to enjoy eternal bliss and everlasting peace. Self-realisation bestows eternal existence, absolute knowledge, and perennial bliss. None can be saved without Self-realisation. The quest for the Absolute should be undertaken even sacrificing the dearest object, even life, even courting all pain. Study philosophical books as much as you like, deliver lectures and lectures throughout your global tour, remain in a Himalayan cave for one hundred years, practise Pranayama for fifty years, you cannot attain emancipation without the realisation of the oneness of the Self." - Swami Sivananda

In Kabbalah, the Atmic body is related with the sephirah Chesed. This is the superior body of the Innermost, the Being, the Father contained within the Trinity of each Monad. The Atmic Body is immersed within the sixth dimension. Man is septuple (possessing seven bodies) and the Atmic Body is the seventh body.

Every atom is a trio of matter, energy and consciousness. The consciousness of every atom is always an intelligent elemental. Aum represents the primordial abstract, absolute space that is beyond attributes or forms, yet is the origin of everything. In the Hindu Vedas, AUM is called the "Sound of the Sun," and the "Sound of Light." In Islam, this is known as Saut-I-Sarmadi, the Unsounded Melody, or Kalma, "word." The Sikhs call it Shabd. The Tibetan Buddhists call it bden tshig.

Avalokiteshvara (Sanskrit, lit. "Lord who looks down"; Tibetan spyan-ras-gzigs dbang-phyug) is a manifestation of the compassion (bodhichitta) of all buddhas. Avalokiteshvara can be seen as a deity or as referring to the Bodhisattvas of Compassion. The Tibetan name is Chenrezig. Avalokiteshvara is a symbol of the Cosmic Christ.

The eleven-headed, thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara is the symbol of the many Bodhisattvas of compassion that attained the ten Bodhisattva stages and also symbolizes the many Avalokiteshvara’s incarnations or Buddhas of compassion within the different Sephiroth of the Tree of Life. He is also known as Kuan-Yin and Chenrezig; in Hinduism he is Vishnu. In the Greek language he is Khristos or Christ who looks in every direction in order to assist and save any being through his Bodhisattvas. Thus, its thousand arms extend his helping hands toward all beings. His ten heads indicate the process through the ten Bodhisattva stages towards the perfection of the Nirmanakaya Body; these stages are represented in the ten hierarchies of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life of the world of Yetzirah with the eleventh that represents the acquisition of the Samboghakaya Body; thus, the eleventh head indicates the incarnation of the universal compassion of all Buddhas. The ten heads also represent the prajnaparamita type of vision that is able to look at all beings within and without the ten Sephiroth of space; the eleventh head represents the all-encompassing Buddha wisdom (Chokmah).

In alchemy, Azoth is the life principle of all metals.

Alchemists always address three symbolic substances: mercury, sulfur, and salt. Azoth is added as a fourth, mysterious permuting life principle.

According to Alchemy: Salt, sulfur, and mercury each have a triune nature, for each of these substances contain, in reality, also the other two substances.

Therefore, the body of Salt is threefold: salt, sulfur, and mercury; but in the body of Salt one of the three (salt) predominates.

Mercury is likewise composed of salt, sulfur, and mercury with the latter element predominating.
Sulfur, similarly, is indeed salt, sulfur, and mercury, with sulfur predominating.

The permutation of these nine divisions - 3 times 3 – 9 is done thanks to Azoth, the sacred fire of Kundalini.

Azoth is therefore the universal substance, the invisible eternal fire, electricity, magnetism, astral light, the measureless spirit of life, the fiery mercurial essence that flows out from the throne of God and the Lamb, the spinal medulla. This is the River of living water in Eden – Sex, the Genesiac mist of the earth, the igneous particles ‘Hashim’ within the dust of the ground (Adamah) from where God formed the electronic bodies of Adam, the true human being.
