| Ka |
The Egyptian name for the Astral Body. |
| Kabbalah |
(Hebrew קבלה) Alternatively spelled Cabala, Qabalah from the Hebrew קבל KBLH or QBL, “to receive.” An ancient esoteric teaching hidden from the uninitiated, whose branches and many forms have reached throughout the world. The true Kabbalah is the science and language of the Superior Worlds and is thus objective, complete and without flaw; it is said that “All enlightened beings agree,” and their natural agreement is a function of the awakened consciousness. The Kabbalah is the language of that consciousness, thus disagreement regarding its meaning and interpretation is always due to the subjective elements in the psyche. "The objective of studying the Kabbalah is to be skilled for work in the Internal Worlds... One that does not comprehend remains confused in the Internal Worlds. Kabbalah is the basis in order to understand the language of these worlds." - Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah "In Kabbalah we have to constantly look at the Hebrew letters." - Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah |
| Kabbel |
The word קבלה Kabbalah derives from קבל Kabbel which means "to receive" a revelation from Chokmah (the Cosmic Christ/Iod-Havah), received by Tiphereth (human soul) and passed to Netzach (mental body) through oral or written actions of Malkuth (physical body). |
| Kabir |
The word "Kabir" is equally well-known in India and in the Middle East, although in each case the word means different things (in many areas it is used as a proper name). From Arabic it means "great" or "the Most High." It is usually attached to the name of a great teacher, as "Sri" is in India. Esoterically, it refers to the Divine Calf, the child of the Divine Mother (who is symbolized by a cow in India, Greece, etc.) The word is related to the ancient and mysterious Cabeiri of the Greek mysteries. Kabir is also the name of an Indian religious leader who pioneered a religious movement that combined elements of Islam and Hinduism and is considered the precursor of Sikhism. |
| Kadosh |
(Hebrew קדוש) "Holy" |
| Kain |
(Hebrew קין) Also Kayin, Qayin or Cain; means ‘smith’, as in metal-smith, or more precisely as in blade-smith, a required skill (or kenning = knowing) of Alchemy (the melting of metals). Thus the name (Cain) in the Book of Genesis is a descriptive appellation to Alchemists. "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bore Cain, saying, I have acquired a man from the Lord." - Genesis / Beresheet 4:1
|
| Kali |
(Sanskrit, "the black one") In the sacred Vedas, this name refers to one of the seven tongues of Agni, the god of fire. The meaning has since changed to refer to the goddess Kali, the consort of Shiva. "In India, Kali the Divine Mother Kundalini is adored, but Kali in her black, fatal aspect is also adored. These are the two Marys, the white and the black. The two Serpents, the Serpent of Brass which healed the Israelites in the wilderness and the Tempting Serpent of Eden." - Samael Aun Weor, The Perfect Matrimony "The Kula order and their goddess Kali come from the black magic of the Atlanteans." - Samael Aun Weor, The Major Mysteries "In the human being, the Cosmic Mother assumes the form of the serpent. There are two serpents, the tempting serpent of Eden, which is the Goddess Kali, the abominable Kundabuffer Organ; and there is the Bronze Serpent that healed the Israelites in the wilderness, the Kundalini Serpent. These are the two Feminine principles of the universe, the Virgin and the Harlot, the Divine Mother or White Moon and Astaroth, Kali, or Black Moon, which refers to its tenebrous aspect. In synthesis, two great fires exist: the Sacred Fire of Kundalini which ascends through the dorsal spine, and the Kundabuffer which descends, precipitating downwards towards the Infernos. Kundalini is the serpent of Bronze which healed the Israelites in the wilderness, the serpent which Moses rose upon the Staff. The Kundabuffer Fire is the Tempting serpent of Eden, which descends downwards towards the Atomic Infernos of the human being. In Egyptian wisdom, this tempting serpent receives the name of Apep. In the rituals of ancient Egypt, Apep was portrayed in wax and with its head aiming downwards. Thus, they exorcised it and conjured it. The Initiate must fight against this tempting serpent of sexual passion, against this horrible Apep. The Initiate must fight to the death. This negative fire of Apep is the negative aspect of Prakriti, in other words Kali. Kali assumes the aspect of a horrible viper which is writhing in the mud (see the life of Krishna). If we want to defeat this Viper in the Cosmos, we must first defeat it within ourselves. We most not forget that we have a very terrible legion of devils, which is “Kali,” the abominable Kundabuffer Organ, the frightful “Apopi” serpent. People are victims of Kali, the Tempting Serpent of which the Hindus speak." - Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah |
| Kali Yuga |
(Sanskrit; Tibetan: snigs-ma'i dus, literally "the degenerate age") The fourth, the black or Iron Age, which is our present period that began during the Greco-Roman epoch. "And at that time (Kali Yuga) shall Michael (the Genie of the Sun, the Solar Christ, the Son who is like God, the Archangel whose solar energy make Solar Men, Christified Adepts, Elohim, Gods) stand up, the great prince (Chokmah, the Son of Kether) who stands (through the Venustic Initiation) for the children of thy people (the Daath-Initiates): and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some (through the Kundalini) to everlasting life, and some (through the Kundabuffer) to shame and everlasting contempt. And they (who awake their consciousness) that are wise (through Chokmah) shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they (the Bodhisattvas) that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, Oh Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end (Kali Yuga): many shall run to and fro, and knowledge (Daath-Gnosis) shall be increased." Daniel12: 1-4 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Daath-Gnosis): because thou hast rejected knowledge (Daath-Gnosis), I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea 4: 6 |
| Kalki Avatar |
(Sanskrit) According to the prophesies of India, in his tenth and final incarnation Lord Vishnu will incarnate himself as the Avatar Kalki, who will come riding his white horse and with his blazing sword in his hands. At the end of Kali Yuga (the present eon) He will punish all evil doers in this world, destroy this world, and recreate a golden age again. As it says in the ancient Vishnu Purana:
This is the Buddha Maitreya of the Mahayana Buddhists, Sosiosh of the Zoroastrians, and “The Faithful and True” of the book of The Revelations of St. John 19:
|
| Kalkian personalities |
"Subjective rationalism is the basis for Kalkian personalities. Let us understand by “Kalkian personalities” those pseudo-esotericist, pseudo-occultist, and pseudo-scientist people from this modern epoch, along with all of their know-it-all types of foolishness. Never has there been as much darkness as there is in this epoch of Kali Yuga." - Samael Aun Weor, Cosmic Ships |
| Kama |
(Sanskrit, "desire, sexual pleasure") |
| Kama Kalpa |
(Sanskrit) An ancient book about love and sex. "The Kama Kalpa of India teaches all the asanas (sacred postures) of the Maithuna; however, it is obvious that many of these postures are inappropriate for occidentals and others are too shocking." - Samael Aun Weor, Christmas Message 1966-1967 (aka The Buddha's Necklace) "The Tantric postures of the Kama Kalpa are very exaggerated and many of them degenerate into Black Tantra." - Samael Aun Weor, The Perfect Matrimony |
| Kama rupa |
(Sanskrit, "body of desire") The lunar, mechanical, protoplasmic astral body or body of emotions. |
| Kama Sutra |
"It is lamentable that the Hindu Kama Sutra was adulterated and deformed in a very monstrous, sinister, and abominable way." - Samael Aun Weor, Cosmic Teachings of a Lama |
| Kamaduro |
(Sanskrit: Kama, "desire"; Duro from Dur, “bad” or “difficult,” from Duristha – "very bad, difficult, or wicked"; Duro, "great crime or wickedness.") (But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it. - Genesis 2: 17). In the human organism, Kamaduro corresponds to the uncontrolled sexual fire, the uncontrolled creative energy of Shiva (the Holy Spirit) brought into action by means of animal desire and which culminates in the emission of the sexual fiery fluid through the orgasm or sexual spasm. Kamaduro originates the decomposition of the sexual creative energy through which Kama (desire) is expressed as karmic poison - death, in other words - as a lustful Duro (very bad), a destructive, uncontrollable force (for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. - Genesis 2: 17). |
| Kanda |
(Sanskrit) "This is situated between the anus and the root of the reproductory organ. It is like the shape of an egg and is covered with membranes. This is just above the Muladhara Chakra. All the Nadis of the body spring from this Kanda. It is in the junction where Sushumna is connected with Muladhara Chakra. The four petals of the Muladhara Chakra are on the sides of this Kanda and the junction is called Granthi-Sthana, where the influence of Maya is very strong. In some Upanishads you will find that Kanda is 9 digits above the genitals. Kanda is a centre of the astral body from where Yoga Nadis, subtle channels, spring and carry the Sukshma Prana (vital energy) to the different parts of the body. Corresponding to this centre, you have ‘Cauda equina’ in the gross physical body. The spinal cord extending from the brain to the end of the vertebral column tapers off into a fine silken thread. Before its termination it gives off innumerable fibres, crowded into a bunch of nerves. This bunch of nerves is ‘Cauda equina’ in the gross body. The astral centre of ‘Cauda equina’ is Kanda." - Swami Sivananda, Kundalini Yoga "Prana circulates throughout all of our nadis and vital canals. All of the 72,000 nadis of our organism have their fundamental base on the nadi Kanda. The nadi Kanda is situated between the sexual organs and the anus. The Kanda collects all of the sexual energy that circulates throughout the 72,000 canals of our organism. The sexual energy is Prana, life. The Angel Aroch (Angel of Power) taught us the Pranava KANDIL, BANDIL, R for the awakening of Devi-Kundalini. These mantras act over the Kanda, reinforcing the vibration of Prana. Thus, the spouse of Shiva, who is coiled in the chakra Muladhara, is awakened when Prana is reinforced. The correct chanting pronunciation of this Pranava is as follows: KAN dil..... BAN dil..... Rrrrrrrrrrr…… KAN is pronounced aloud. DIL is pronounced with a low voice. BAN is pronounced aloud. DIL is pronounced with a low voice. The letter R has to be rolled and acutely pronounced, imitating the sound produced by the rattles of the rattlesnake. This is how the Prana is reinforced, so that from the Kanda, from where the Shushumna nadi and the chakra Muladhara are joined, Devi-Kundalini awakens. The Kanda is precisely situated in the same point where the nadi Shushumna and the chakra Muladhara join. This is why the Pranava of the Angel Aroch acts so intensely over the Kundalini. The Kanda nourishes itself with the sexual organs. The Kanda has its physiological correspondence in the “cauda equina” of the spinal medulla... The Kanda is found situated within the chakra Muladhara." - Samael Aun Weor, Kundalini Yoga: The Mysteries of the Fire |
| Kaom |
"The police of Karma, the Kaom, emerge inside each one of us, within those intimate regions where love is missing. To flee from the agents of Karma is not possible, since inside of each one of us exists (the Kaom) the police who inevitably will conduce us towards the tribunals." - Samael Aun Weor |
| Kaph |
|
| Karma |
(Sanskrit, literally "deed"; derived from kri, "to do...") The Law of Cause and Effect.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." - Galatians 6:7 |
| Karmasaya |
The sum total of the impressions left by any sexual interrelationship (physical, emotional, and mental). In other words, impressions of past sexual encounters leave karmic traces within the subconsciousness (protoplasmic bodies / ego) as a residual, potential memory; Karmasaya is the Karmic receptacle of the active effects of those impressions. Karmasaya is totally overcome through comprehension of its cause. Through in-depth meditation on the great emotional crises originated by Karmasaya, comprehension arrives through the superlative consciousness of the Being. Without crises and meditation upon them, comprehension and subsequent elimination of Karmasaya are impossible. In such a case, Karmasaya remains within the mind as a cause of suffering.
|
| Katancia |
Superior Karma applied to Nirvanis, Avatars, Devas, Prophets, Angels, Gods. |
| Katebet |
A queen from Atlantean times. "The Initiates remember that beautiful woman named Katebet of gloomy memories, Queen of the Southern States and the powerful city of the Gates of Gold of that submerged continent. Indeed, amongst the Borgia and Medici’s family history there does not exist a similar perversity as that of Queen Katebet. She captivated with her malignant beauty and Necromancy. She fascinated and seduced princes and kings with her enchantments." - Samael Aun Weor, The Kabbalah of Mayan Mysteries |
| Katun |
A Mayan term which refers to epochs or periods of time, and also to regions or Heavens. The Thirteen Katuns are.. "..thirteen periods of time for each human race. Obviously, the prophecies for each one of the past Katuns of our Aryan Root Race were exactly fulfilled. Presently, we are approaching the Thirteenth Katun. The Mayas say that between the years 2040 and 2043, the Thirteenth Katun will enter into activity. The great catastrophe that will destroy this present humanity, which lives on the five continents of the world, will occur during the Thirteenth Katun... "Ain, Ain Soph, Ain Soph Aur. "Kether, Chokmah, Binah, Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, Malkuth. "These are the thirteen Aeons or supra-sensible atomic Regions, which are mutually penetrating and co-penetrating without confusion. The Unmanifested Absolute is beyond these thirteen Aeons." - Samael Aun Weor, The Pistis Sophia Unveiled |
| Kaya |
(Sanskrit) Mahayana Buddhism describes perfect Buddhahood in terms of kayas or bodies. There are varying ways of understanding the kayas. a. Sambogokaya (Body of Perfect Enjoyment), the "spontaneous clarity" aspect of the buddha, which is perceptible only to highly-realized beings.
b. Nirmanakaya (Body of Manifestation), the compassionate aspect of the buddha, which appears in the world. |
| Kechari Mudra |
A practice from the Hindu Kundalini Yoga tradition which is mentioned by Samael Aun Weor but not taught or practiced. It is described by Swami Sivananda in his book Kundalini Yoga: "Khechari Mudra: ‘Kha’ means Akasa and ‘Chari’ means to move. The Yogi moves in the Akasa. The tongue and the mind remain in the Akasa. Hence this is known as Khechari Mudra. This Mudra can be performed by a man, only if he has undergone the preliminary exercise under the direct guidance of a Guru, who is practising Khechari Mudra." This mudra requires the cutting of the tendon of the tongue. About it, Samael Aun Weor stated: "A Yogi/Yogini can live with their physical body throughout the millions of years and move about within the pure Akasha without the necessity of cutting the inferior tendon of his tongue, as the Kechari-Mudra unfortunately teaches. What is important is to attain the Elixir of Long Life and to become strong with the practice of internal meditation." (Kundalini Yoga) |
| Kether |
(or Keter; Hebrew כתר; means Crown) The first sephirah of the Tree of Life. "Kether is the Father within us, a breath from the Absolute, profoundly unknowable to Himself. Kether is the Ancient of Days. Each one of us, in our depth, is a blessed Ancient of Days... Indeed, each one of us has in the depths of our consciousness a Venerable Elder. This is the First Logos. The Kabbalists denominate Him Kether. The Ancient of Days is androgynous, meaning man and woman at the same time. Kether is the first and last synthesis of our Being. The Elder of Days is the first terribly divine emanation of the Abstract Absolute Space. The Ancient of Days is original in each human being. He is the Father; therefore, there are as many Fathers in heaven as there are human beings on Earth."- Samael Aun Weor, Tarot and Kabbalah "O Supernal cause OF ALL CAUSES, KETER, I wish to strive for your honor, to establish the attributes of Aba and Ima, BEING CHOCHMAH AND BINAH, for your honor's sake." - Zohar 16:4 |
| Keys of Saint Peter |
“The Intimate Christ always instructs Peter. The Intimate Christ reveals the Mysteries to Peter. The Intimate Christ has the power in order to perfect Peter in all his splendour. The Lord gives all the Mysteries of all the regions of the Father and all the regions of the First Mystery to the interior Peter within each one of us. Consequently, the secret Peter of each one of us is interesting. He, who Peter admits on earth, shall be admitted into the Light of the height, and he who Peter expels on earth, shall be expelled from the Kingdom of the Father in Heaven. It is clear that Peter is the Hierophant of sex within ourselves. Therefore, he has the power to open or to close the doors of Heaven in ourselves, and within ourselves. Verily, verily, I say unto you that Peter has the keys of the Kingdom. The secret power that opens or closes the doors of Eden is in sex. The sexual energy, when correctly orientated, opens the doors of Paradise. The creative energy, when incorrectly orientated, closes the doors of Paradise. sulfur and Mercury are the two keys of the Kingdom. These two keys, one of Gold and the other of Silver, form a Cross in the hands of Peter.” - Samael Aun Weor, The Pistis Sophia Unveiled “Then with his sword he traced upon my brow the scars of seven P’s. “Once entered here, be sure you cleanse away these wounds,” he said. Ashes, or earth when it is dug up dry - this was the colour of the robes he wore; he reached beneath them and drew out two keys. One key was silver and the other gold; first he applied the white one, then the yellow - with that the gate responded to my wish. “Whenever either one of these two keys fails to turn properly inside the lock,” the angel said, “the road ahead stays closed. One is more precious, but the other needs wisdom and skill before it will unlock, for it is that one which unties the knot. I hold these keys from Peter, who advised: ‘Admit too many, rather than too few, if they but cast themselves before your feet.’” Then, pushing back the portal’s holy door, “Enter,” he said to us, “but first be warned: to look back means to go back out again.” - Dante's The Divine Comedy, Purgatory IX |
| King of Kings |
Genesis 32 |
| Kingdom of Heaven |
"The Kingdom of Heaven is not a place as the learned ignoramuses suppose. The Kingdom of Heaven is the conscious circle of the solar humanity, which operates over the superior centers of the Being. The Kingdom of Heaven is formed by each and every one of the members of the divine humanity. - Samael Aun Weor, The Pistis Sophia Unveiled |
| Kingdoms of Nature |
All the monadic sparks which evolve and devolve through the mechanical cycles of nature pass through four kingdoms in ascendant and descendant order, within the mineral, plant, animal and intellectual animal (humanoid) kingdoms. Only those who perform the Great Work of the Self-realization of the Being escape this Wheel of Samsara, to enter into Conscious Evolution within the Superior Kingdoms. |
| Klipoth |
(Hebrew קליפות) Also qliphoth, kliffoth, klippot or kellipot. “The World of Shells.” From קליפה, meaning "peel, shell, rind (cheese), skin, cortex, crust, hull, husk." In Kabbalah, the term klipoth refers to the inferior worlds, the inferno, hell, or abyss. The Klipoth is so named because the souls who descend into the inferior worlds descend without the connection to their own inner divinity, therefore they are "empty shells." "Adam was drawn downward after the serpent. He went down to learn of all that is below, meaning that he went down to draw the light of Chochmah to the lower Malchut that is missing like the serpent. As he went down for the purpose of drawing light from above to below, his desires and his ways were drawn after the Klipot. This drawing downward of the light of union is the secret of ‘prohibition of the tree of knowledge.’ Since he intended to draw the light downward, he cleaved immediately to the Klipot, even though he had not yet actually drawn any light. They went down to the serpent and saw the desire of the world. And his ways were swayed to this place of Malchut, which is the secret of eating of the tree of knowledge. Then the serpent was drawn after Adam and his wife. It cleaved onto them with its filth, bringing death to them and all subsequent generations." - Zohar 2:55:287 "“And they sewed fig leaves together” (Genesis / Beresheet 3:7), meaning that they were covered by many layers of Klipot of the mixed multitude [the ego]. This was because they were naked without the Torah [law]. Therefore, they were covered in order not to reveal their nakedness, which is the place [the sexual organs] onto which the klipot cling." - Zohar |
| Koradi |
The future, or sixth, root race of the planet Earth, who will arise after the fall of the present Aryan root race. |
| Kout Humi |
A mysterious master of the White Lodge, often referred to as K.H. |
| Krishna |
An incarnation of Vishnu (Chokmah) and a central figure in Indian (Hindu) spirituality. His life bears a remarkable similarity to that of Jesus of Nazareth. His most famous teaching is expressed in the Bhagavad-Gita. "Understand that Christ is a cosmic force, the Second Logos, a Perfect Multiple Unity: as the electricity is energy, Christ is also energy; as the universal gravity is a force, Christ is also a force, a force as the force of fire, or as the force of water, or as the force of air, etc. Christ is a force, and can express itself through any man or woman (since women have the same rights of men) who is duly prepared, and that is all. If it is true that Christ expressed itself and continues expressing itself through the great Kabir Jesus, it is also true that Christ also expressed itself through our Lord Quetzalcoatl. Therefore it is worthwhile to read the life, passion, death, and resurrection of the blessed Quetzalcoatl. Moreover, if it is true that Christ resplendently shone in Quetzalcoatl, it is also true that Christ shone resplendently on mount Nebo upon the face of Moses, and it is also true that Christ sang the sacred “Song of God” (Bhagavad-Gita) in India when incarnated within the Avatar named Krishna. Comprehend that the Cosmic Christ expresses itself wherever there is a human being (a Buddha) who is duly prepared. Christ is not an individual, Christ is not a person, Christ is not an “I”; Christ is a cosmic force that is latent within every atom of the universe. Christ is the universal fire of life, and this is very important to understand, because Christ is Fire." - Samael Aun Weor, The Major Mysteries "When one studies the Gospel of Krishna the Hindu Christ, one is astonished upon discovering the same Gospel of Jesus. However, Krishna was born many centuries before Jesus. Devaki, the Hindu virgin, conceived Krishna by the action and grace of the Holy Spirit. The child-God Krishna was transported to the stable of Nanden and the gods and angels came to adore him. The life, passion, and death of Krishna are similar to that of Jesus." - Samael Aun Weor, The Revolution of the Dialectic |
| Kriya |
(Sanskrit) Action, activity; also has a relationship to the physical senses. |
| Kriya Yoga |
In India and its yogas, Kriya is most known as the tradition related to
Paramahamsa Yogananda, which is a teaching consisting of meditation and
pranayama (the "bellow" system). In the Tibetan tradition, there is
also a school of Yoga called Kriya, but it has little relationship to
the Indian versions. In this case Kriya Yoga is the entry level to the
higher forms of Tantrism, and is called Action Tantra. |
| Kriyashakti |
(Sanskrit) Comprised of kriya, "activity," and shakti, "intelligent energy," specifically related to the Divine Mother (Binah: intelligence). The resulting term Kriyashakti implies how will / consciousness creates by directing energy. "Gnostics create with the power of Kriyashakti: willpower and Yoga." - Samael Aun Weor, The Mystery of the Golden Blossom |
| Krumm-Heller, Dr. Arnold (Huiracocha) |
Arnold Krumm-Heller was born Arnold Krumm on April 15, 1876. At the age of sixteen, he left to meet some family in South America for work. There he traveled extensively, where he supposedly learned healing methods and medicinal techniques from the native Indians in Argentina, Chile and so on. In his early twenties, he went back to Germany where he entered into the initiatic fraternity of the “Rose Cross.” Later, he returned to Latin America and established various initiatic institutions called “Fraternatis Rosicruciana Antiqua” (The Ancient Rosecrucian Fraternity). He established himself in Mexico City where he made the center of his initiatic fraternity. He was made the Dean of Linguistics at the University of Mexico City, was of high rank in the Mexican Army, and was also made a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Berlin. He was known by his Inner Name, Huiracocha, who is one of the Venerable Masters of the Ray of Medicine and Science. Samael Aun Weor, as a young man, was trained in the initiatic institution set up by Huiracocha (as described in The Three Mountains). Arnold Krumm-Heller (Heller was his mother’s maiden name, hyphenated as is the custom in Mexico) wrote many books on esotericism and the Rosecrucian Brotherhood. One of his best known works was “Iglesia Gnostica” (in English:“Gnostic Church”). Krumm-Heller expressed his disgust for the “dead teachings” of the esoteric institutions that were springing up in the first part of the 20th century. He exclaimed that a living teaching had been preserved by certain small groups of Indians in Peru, Colombia and other places in Latin America. Rather than just read about mystics in far off places, he said that the real knowledge was accessible to anyone who sought for it. He said that he never ran off to India to eat roots and wear rags (as many Theosophists of his time were doing). Rather, he exclaimed that the true teachings can be accessible to anyone who put into practice certain esoteric exercises and seek for the Truth Within. |
| Ku |
The Egyptian name for the Causal Body. |
| Kuf |
|
| Kuklos Anankes |
or Kuklos Anagkes (Greek) Kuklos is Greek for a circle or wheel. Ananke or Anagke comes from the ancient Greek: Ανάγκη, a goddess representing destiny, necessity, and fate. Thus the Kuklos Anankes is the circle or wheel of destiny or necessity, which can represent the journey of the disembodied entity to a temporary experience of happiness (the state of devachan) and back to Earth. At times, it was symbolized by serpent-mounds, the serpent swallowing his tail, and other emblems of the dragon, all of which denote cyclic time, among other things. Visible in the subterranean crypts of Thebes and Memphis. See also: Ananke |
| Kumaras |
(Sanskrit) "Divine Kings." From H.P. Blavatsky: “The first Kumaras are the seven sons of Brahma. It is stated that their name was given to them owing to their formal refusal to ‘procreate their species,’ and so they ‘remained Yogis,’ as the legend says.” |
| Kumbum |
(Tibetan) The name of a region and a monastery in Tibet, which is named after a sacred tree there.
"The Sephirotic tree of the Kabbalah and the Aswatta or sacred fig tree are symbols of divine wisdom. Zoroaster represented the nervous system and the liquid system of human beings by the “Haona”of the Mazdeists. Other symbols are the “Kumbum” of Tibet and the “Yggradsil,” the Pheredydes oak of the ancient Celts." - Occult Medicine and Practical Magic (quote from The Berzin Archives): Jampa-ling Monastery (sKu-‘bum Byams-pa gling) was founded in 1583 by the Third Dalai Lama, Sonam-gyatso (rGyal-ba bSod-nams rgya-mtsho) (1543-1588). It was built in Amdo (A-mdo), near Lake Kokonor (mTsho-sngon), at the site where Tsongkhapa (rJe Tsong-kha-pa Blo-bzang grags-pa) (1357-1419), the founder of the Gelug Tradition, had been born. It was prophesied in several texts of the Kadam (bKa’-gdams) masters. A drop of blood fell from Tsongkhapa’s umbilical cord when it was cut after his birth. From this drop grew a wondrous white sandlewood tree. It has a very broad trunk and 100,000 leaves, which it never sheds. In Tibetan, the number 100,000 merely signifies a very large number, and is not meant literally. On each leaf is an image of the Buddha Sinhanada (Seng-ge sgra). On the bark of the branches and trunk are the designs of the seed syllables and hand implements of this Buddha. In the future, Tsongkhapa will take birth as Sinhanada, the eleventh Buddha of the 1,000 who will grace the earth during this fortunate eon. In 1379, Tsongkhapa’s mother, with the help of the local faithful, built a small temple with a stupa around this tree. It stands to this day. |
| Kundabuffer |
The negatively polarized sexual energy. "The Lord sent against the people the fiery snakes [הנחשים השרפים], and they bit the people, and many people of Israel died. The people came to Moses and said, "We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord that He remove the snakes from us." So Moses prayed on behalf of the people." - Numbers 21:6 "It is necessary to know that the Kundabuffer Organ is the negative development of the fire. This is the descending serpent, which precipitates itself from the coccyx downwards, towards the atomic infernos of the human being. The Kundabuffer Organ is the horrifying tail of Satan, which is shown in the “body of desires” of the Intellectual Animal, who in the present times is falsely called man." - Samael Aun Weor, The Elimination of Satan's Tail "The diabolic type whose seduction is here, there and everywhere under the pretext of working in the Ninth Sphere, who abandons his wife because he thinks she will not be useful to him for the work in the Fiery Forge of Vulcan, instead of awakening Kundalini, will awaken the abominable Kundabuffer organ. A certain Initiate, whose name will not be mentioned in this Treatise, commits the error of attributing to the Kundalini all the sinister qualities of the Kundabuffer organ... When the Fire is cast downwards from the chakra of the coccyx, the tail of Satan appears; the abominable Kundabuffer organ. The hypnotic power of the organ of Witches’ Sabbath holds the human multitude asleep and depraved. Those who commit the crime of practicing Black Tantra (Sexual Magic with Seminal Ejaculation) clearly awaken and develop the organ of all fatalities. Those who betray their Guru or Master, even if practicing White Tantra (without seminal ejaculation), will obviously activate the organ of all evils. Such sinister power opens the seven doorways of the lower abdomen (the seven infernal chakras) and converts us into terribly perverse demons." - Samael Aun Weor, The Mystery of the Golden Blossom |
| Kundalini |
"Kundalini, the serpent power or mystic fire, is the primordial energy or Sakti that lies dormant or sleeping in the Muladhara Chakra, the centre of the body. It is called the serpentine or annular power on account of serpentine form. It is an electric fiery occult power, the great pristine force which underlies all organic and inorganic matter. Kundalini is the cosmic power in individual bodies. It is not a material force like electricity, magnetism, centripetal or centrifugal force. It is a spiritual potential Sakti or cosmic power. In reality it has no form. [...] O Divine Mother Kundalini, the Divine Cosmic Energy that is hidden in men! Thou art Kali, Durga, Adisakti, Rajarajeswari, Tripurasundari, Maha-Lakshmi, Maha-Sarasvati! Thou hast put on all these names and forms. Thou hast manifested as Prana, electricity, force, magnetism, cohesion, gravitation in this universe. This whole universe rests in Thy bosom. Crores of salutations unto thee. O Mother of this world! Lead me on to open the Sushumna Nadi and take Thee along the Chakras to Sahasrara Chakra and to merge myself in Thee and Thy consort, Lord Siva. Kundalini Yoga is that Yoga which treats of Kundalini Sakti, the six centres of spiritual energy (Shat Chakras), the arousing of the sleeping Kundalini Sakti and its union with Lord Siva in Sahasrara Chakra, at the crown of the head. This is an exact science. This is also known as Laya Yoga. The six centres are pierced (Chakra Bheda) by the passing of Kundalini Sakti to the top of the head. ‘Kundala’ means ‘coiled’. Her form is like a coiled serpent. Hence the name Kundalini." - Swami Sivananda, Kundalini Yoga "Kundalini is a compound word: Kunda reminds us of the abominable “Kundabuffer organ,” and lini is an Atlantean term meaning termination. Kundalini means “the termination of the abominable Kundabuffer organ.” In this case, it is imperative not to confuse Kundalini with Kundabuffer." - Samael Aun Weor, The Great Rebellion These two forces, one positive and ascending, and one negative and descending, are symbolized in the Bible in the Book of Numbers (the story of the Serpent of Brass). The Kundalini is “The power of life.”- from the Theosophical Glossary. The Sexual Fire that is at the base of all life. "The ascent of the Kundalini along the spinal cord is achieved very slowly in accordance with the merits of the heart. The fires of the heart control the miraculous development of the Sacred Serpent. Devi Kundalini is not something mechanical as many suppose; the Igneous Serpent is only awakened with genuine Love between husband and wife, and it will never rise up along the medullar canal of adulterers."- Samael Aun Weor, The Mystery of the Golden Blossom "The decisive factor in the progress, development and evolution of the Kundalini is ethics." - Samael Aun Weor, The Revolution of Beelzebub "Until not too long ago, the majority of spiritualists believed that on awakening the Kundalini, the latter instantaneously rose to the head and the initiate was automatically united with his Innermost or Internal God, instantly, and converted into Mahatma. How comfortable! How comfortably all these theosophists, Rosicrucians and spiritualists, etc., imagined High Initiation." - Samael Aun Weor, The Zodiacal Course There are seven bodies of the Being. "Each body has its “cerebrospinal” nervous system, its medulla and Kundalini. Each body is a complete organism. There are, therefore, seven bodies, seven medullae and seven Kundalinis. The ascension of each of the seven Kundalinis is slow and difficult. Each canyon or vertebra represents determined occult powers and this is why the conquest of each canyon undergoes terrible tests." - Samael Aun Weor, The Zodiacal Course |
