Clairvoyance

Clairvoyance is a term invented by occultists, derived from the French words clair “clear," and voyance “seeing.” Clairvoyance refers to the capacity of inner or spiritual sight, which is natural in all conscious beings, but in us has degenerated into fantasy (mechanical imagination). All human beings are clairvoyant, but in us it is negative, because in our mind's eye we only see the projections of our desires, fears, anger, lust, greed, envy, etc. Our unconscious, subconscious, and infraconscious psychological elements project images in our imagination: that is negative clairvoyance. Positive clairvoyance is achieved when the filters to imagination are removed, and our inner sight sees without the interference of pride, fear, etc. Through the practices given by the Gnostic teachings, anyone can restore their natural ability to see internally, known in mysticism as "clairvoyance."

Whosoever wants to be clairvoyant must put an end to reasoning and become accustomed to seeing all things with the imagination. - Samael Aun Weor, The Manual of Practical Magic
