Initiation

In life, we pass through stages of life, each marked by ceremony or ritual, depending upon our culture or religion. Examples include the entrance into the teen years (marked by rituals of confirmation, bar mitzvah, etc) or the entrance into married life, marked by the ritual of marriage. These rituals "initiate" us into a new life. These terrestrial rituals are earthly reflections of rituals or initiations that our Innermost Spirit passes through along the path to perfection.

"When we exited Eden, we penetrated into the tenebrous abysses of nature. We can only leave those abysses by means of Cosmic Initiation. Every initiation is a Spiritual Birth.
