Magic

The word magic is derived from the ancient word "mag" that means priest (from magos "one of the members of the learned and priestly class," from O.Pers. magush). Real magic is the work of a priest. A real magician is a priest. A real priest is a magician.

"Religion is Magic sanctioned by authority." - Eliphas Levi, The Paradoxes of the Highest Science

"When magic is explained as it really is, it seems to make no sense to fanatical people. They prefer to follow their world of illusions." - Samael Aun Weor, The Revolution of Beelzebub (1950)
